Decorating a Kitchen and Breakfast Nook
with decorative wall lettering transfers

Decorating a kitchen and breakfast nook is another fun project. As with all home improvement projects, it’s a good idea to start out with a budget and then make a plan. Being organized is a big help, too. Begin by deciding whether you want the two areas to stand apart as two distinct areas or if you want them to incorporate the same theme. An effective way to bring the two areas together is by coordinating the kitchen towels, pot holders, tablecloths, curtains and placemats.

Using the same color on the walls of both areas helps, too. Warm up tile flooring in the breakfast nook with an area rug. Most often, breakfast nooks are situated next to large windows, typically facing the morning light. Frame these windows with light and airy fabrics that will let in a lot of light. What a great way to start the day!
